What to do in the event of a dental emergency

 

If you call the office and receive a message that I am on vacation, and you need help right away, you can call any one of the following colleagues/friends.  They will be happy to help you or direct you to the proper specialist if necessary.

If you have a serious emergency that can not wait, such as

  • Uncontrollable bleeding
  • Swelling of the face that is increasing and/or affecting your eye or throat
  • Severe pain

Go to an emergency room of a hospital that has a dental department/residency program, such as:

  • Long Island College Hospital
  • Lutheran Medical Center
  • Methodist
  • Maimonides
  • Brookdale
